Implementing change is difficult and time consuming - whatever it is.


Just been reading an article in HR magazine why companies find it difficult to implement 'wellbeing' within their organisations. I am not sure I really understand what 'wellbeing' is all about but it sounds like it is something that we should have.

Looking at the diagram, showing the barriers to its implementation, I thought how similar they are to the issues that stop companies adopting an age-friendly strategy. I guess all change is difficult and is hampered by the same problems.

The big difference with age-friendliness is that it doesn't actually cost anything. I think all the other barriers are the same. Dick Stroud
